Job Summary: Lumin Counseling is a growing private practice seeking an experienced, compassionate Counselor to join our growing team in Westerville, Ohio. Our relatable counselors make therapy enjoyable, working collaboratively with clients to restore order, wisdom, courage, and integrity for a thriving life. This hybrid position offers the flexibility to work remotely with occasional in-office sessions for clients who prefer face-to-face interaction. The ideal candidate will provide therapeutic services for individuals and/or couples. We have openings for full-time and part-time positions. Key Responsibilities:

• Provide counseling services, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for clients dealing with a range of mental health issues.
• Conduct both virtual and in-person sessions based on client needs and preferences.
• Develop individualized treatment plans and adjust as necessary to meet client goals.
• Maintain accurate and timely client documentation in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals or service providers as needed to support client care.
• Stay up-to-date on the latest counseling techniques, ethical standards, and practices.
• Desire to incorporate faith-based/spiritual approaches into practice when appropriate.

• Master's or Doctorate degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.
• Licensed in the state of Ohio (LPC, LSW, MFT, LPCC, LISW, IMFT, or Psychologist). Provisionally licensed LPCs are welcome to apply - in-house supervision is available to support your professional growth and licensure requirements.
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in mental health counseling.
• Ability to manage a caseload independently and work with diverse populations.
• Proficiency with teletherapy platforms and basic computer skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Flexibility to meet clients both virtually and in-person in Westerville.

• Experience in specialized therapeutic approaches (CBT, EMDR, DBT, etc.).
• Experience working with specific populations (children, trauma survivors, couples, etc.).

• This is a 1099 independent contractor position. Compensation is highly competitive and based on client caseload, licensure, and specialized experience.
• We will work with you to fill your caseload to the level you want it to be as soon as possible.
• Flexibility in scheduling and administrative support that helps you focus on just providing excellent care to your clients.

• Provisionally licensed counselors (e.g., LPC) receive 70% of session fees and benefit from in-house supervision.
• Independently licensed counselors (e.g., LPCC, LISW, IMFT) receive 75% of session fees.
• A minimum commitment of 20 client hours per week is required.
