Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your comprehensive and seasoned expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside dedicated, innovative, and collaborative teammates. You'll lead and inspire your team to ensure safe, efficient, and customer-focused rail service operations. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (such as Safety, Contract Administration, and Information Technology Systems), provide strategic oversight for daily train operations and much more.
We’ll look to you for:
Overseeing and coordinating Contractor's performance of obligations under the Agreement,
Exercising authority and autonomy over operations, including decision-making for subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers,
Providing mentorship and training to 3 subordinate Assistant General Managers,
Attending Authority Board meetings and performance review meetings with Authority staff

Bachelor’s Degree in Transportation, Business Administration, Engineering, Construction, or related field—or equivalent experience,
Experience or understanding of managing operations and maintenance in complex Railroad Networks environment,
Knowledge of FRA, CPUC, and other State and local regulations related to the operations and maintenance,
Familiarity with labor relations in a collective bargaining environment

Salary Range:
$154,000.00 to $211,750.00 depending on experience/qualifications.
This position is eligible for Railroad Retirement.
