_In this role, you will be joining a team supporting internal customers, designing, implementing and managing lab infrastructure to meet the customer requirements. This position will have an emphasis on Linux Systems OS along with a mix of Windows OS. This is a customer service-oriented role requiring attention to detail, self-motivation and working well in teams. Flexibility in approach to finding solutions, and the ability to understand and act on the customer needs, priorities, and learn new technologies quickly are some of the qualities a successful candidate will have_ **_. Your day-to-day activities will involve the following;_**
+ Build, configure, administer, and troubleshoot Windows (and Linux) servers and user workstation hardware and software; design and implement workgroup-scale networks; build and manage authentication, file-share, and other collaboration servers to support groups of heterogeneous client systems.
+ Partner with facilities security staff to develop and apply hardening steps for systems for classified use to NISPOM Chapter 8, JAFAN, and other customer standards.
+ Document system configuration for new and existing systems.
+ This role will require occasional off-hours responses to outages and an individual to take part in subsequent service restoration efforts.
**Required Education, Experience, & Skills**
+ Active Secret clearance and CompTIA Security (or equivalent) certification as itmay be required to work in some of the customer labs, and preference will be given to candidates who hold this certificate.
+ Minimum of High School Diploma with 6 or more years of relevant IT System Administrator experience
+ Experience with centralized authentication technologies such as LDAP and Active Directory domains in supporting (Windows/Linux) cross-platform clients with more expereince with Linux OS is desirable.
+ Experience in enterprise level Windows Server operating environments, including Windows Active Directory, Group Policy Management, SharePoint, Exchange services.
+ Experience with TCP/IP and Microsoft Networking concepts would also be required, as well as Windows and Unix/Linux interoperability services (e.g. centralized authentication technologies for cross-platform clients) and Windows shell scripting
+ Virtual machine (VM) technologies (ESXi, VCenter, VSphere)
+ PXE and WDS automated system installation technologies
+ Configuration management tools (Subversion, ClearCase
+ Red Hat Enterprise Linux and CentOS
+ NetApp Management
+ Automated backup systems
**Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills**
+ Bachelor's Degree
+ CompTIA Security certification
+ Ability to work both Server Admin and Field service ( PC )
**Pay Information**
Full-Time Salary Range: $86460 - $146982
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
